Memorial Day

Memorial day is one of my favorite holidays. This year, just a few could make the trip.Our first stop was Nephi to see Aunt Judy.  

Moroni was next.

Then we stopped to see where Grandma Carlston's house used to be.  We were able to feed the cow, and then we also found a piece of stone from Grandma's house that we brought home and put in our flower beds.

A quick stop to the Fairview Muesuem.

Then off to the Fairview Cemetary.

By now we were all starving.  Not a huge selection of food choices in Fairview!  So we stopped at a gas station.  The food was awesome!  Total dive of a place, but great food!

Next stop was Ferron.

Grandma's old house.  Such great memories!

Then we stopped off to Molen to see where my namesake came from.
 

Last stop of the night...Pizza! Super fun long day.
