Friday night we decided to drive up and see the Prestion Festival of lights. Well, lets just say, we can check that off our list! I can't believe how small they were! The kids kept saying, "This is it?!" Not much to them. We did have a fun drive up watching a Christmas movie, then we stopped off to Artic Circle for Hot Chocolate and ice cream. The plan was to stop at The Polar Bear and get a shake, when did that close down? All in all it was fun to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, see a few lights and get a treat, (which I think was the kids favorite part!) It all added to the Christmas spirit of family and memories, so not a complete bust!
Here is a picture of the boys watching their special email from Santa! Boy, how we did love watching their faces light up when he said their name and when they were found on the good list! Oh the magic and joys of Christmas!
We had the same message from Santa for Allee. She cried and told me to turn it off. Maybe next year she will warm up to him. :) With our frequent drives thru Preston we too noticed the Polor Bear was closed. So Sad! That was a great place to stop when seeing the lights. Looks like you guys had a great time!
